C’est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de monsieur Farid Anis survenu le 4 juillet 2023, à l’âge de 75 ans. Il était l’époux de madame Catherine Shorabi.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Francois et Nadine, ses petites-filles Aurélie et Emma, sa sœur Fadia, ses frères Fares et Fawzy, ses neveux et nièces et son beau-fils Patrick, ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 8 juillet 2023 à compter de 9h00 à l’Église catholique Notre-Dame-d’Égypte et la cérémonie sera célébrée à 10h00.

La famille tient à remercier la société des soins palliatifs à domicile du grand Montréal et spécialement madame Martine Armand, infirmière, pour son dévouement depuis 2017, son optimisme et son grand cœur, sans elle, nous n’aurions pas pu traverser cette dure épreuve. Un remerciement pour les intervenants du CLSC Saint Léonard, de l’hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont et ceux du PNAVD du centre McGill pour leur soutien continu depuis 6 ans, sans oublier Dre Marie-Hélène Marchand qui a toujours été présente pour nous soutenir dans les nombreuses démarches et qui a fait preuve de bienveillance et d’humanité tout au long du processus. Merci spécial au Père Émile Bakhoun de l’Église Copte Catholique, et du Père Victor Nasr de l’Église St-Mark Copte Orthodoxe, pour leur soutien spirituel et leur engagement.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Farid Anis on July 4, 2023, at the age of 75. He was the husband of Madame Catherine Shorabi.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Francois and Nadine, his granddaughters Aurélie and Emma, his sister Fadia, his brothers Fares and Fawzy, his nephews and nieces and his son-in-law Patrick, as well as several relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. at l’ Église Notre-Dame-d’Égypte. The ceremony will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.

The family would like to thank The Society for Palliative Home Care of Greater Montreal and especially Mrs. Martine Armand, nurse, for her dedication since 2017, her optimism and her big heart, without her, we would not have been able to get through this long and difficult process. A thank you to the caregivers and nurse of the CLSC Saint Léonard, the Maisonnave-Rosement hospital and those of the NAPVD of the McGill center for their continuous support and care for the last 6 years, without forgetting Dr Marie-Hélène Marchand who has always been present to support us in the many steps and who showed kindness and humanity throughout the process.
