It is with great sadness the family of Kathleen Giroux (Kathy) announce her passing which occurred unexpectedly at her home on October 8, 2020. Kathy was born in Montreal on October 5, 1956, the daughter of the late Nora and Germain Giroux. Kathy is survived by her daughters Ashley (Phil), Michelle (Max), Grandson Blake, sisters Karen (the late Daniel), Suzanne (John), and nieces Vanessa (Olivier), Jessica, Kelsey (Jordan) and Sarah. Kathy will be remembered for her amazing and quirky sense of humour. Her love for her daughters, for her family, and her friends was unconditional, and she absolutely adored her grandson. Kathy was loved by so many. A small ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 3:30 p.m. -7:30 pm at the funeral home. A eulogy will be made at 5 p.m. Please note masks are required for the visitation and hugging is not permitted. Due to COVID-19, we fully understand that your presence may not be possible, and there will be another celebration of her life next Spring, when she will be buried at the same time as her mom in St. Andrews East.
